We are pleased to offer a stunning collection of memorabilia consigned by descendants of the iconic Pannam/Richards footballing family spanning the years 1917 to 1961, along with other items with family links. Enjoy Studio photographic portrait of Dick Lee c.1914-1920 by the Allan Studio of 318 Smith Street Collingwood, 140x94mm on stiff backing board 270x167mm that contains the unusual pencil notation "Don't let this happen to you!", a few spots but a lovely item The incomparable Dick Lees' career spanned the years 1906 to 1922 and included many highlights. In total he played 230 games for Collingwood as a full forward with a spectacular leap, for a total of 707 goals, was vice captain in 1910, 1911 and captained the team in 1920 and 1921. He led the team's goalkicking eleven times and was the VFL's leading goal kicker no less than eight times, in 1907, 1908, 1910, 1914, 1915, 1916, 1917 and 1919. He played in the premiership teams of 1910, 1917 and 1919. He also represented Victoria, playing 19 games and kicking 60 goals. A member of the Collingwood FC Committee 1923-34 and 1950-54 and Life Member, Dick has also been inducted into the Collingwood and AFL Halls of Fame and was selected in the Collingwood FC's Team of the Century.
